New hip hop artist have a chance to display their lyrical skills each week on our freestyle battle ground. The freestyle battleground features the hottest, raw underground artist straight of "The Block" going verse for verse - accapella. Each artist goes 2 rounds each. MMD TV recognizes area youth ages 5 to 15 each week based on academic's and community achievements. Each week the selected youth win prizes, such as movie passes, gift certificates and more from our local sponsers. They will also be honored on the weekly show "The Block".
